I love reading posts on other blogs about thier mantle. I often wondered how I could get a similar effect. I started using the top of my entertainment center. This is a picture of what I have right now

March Madness

I am very pleased that both MSU men's and women's b-ball teams won on Sunday.
Changing subjects. We had an awesome Worship Service on Sunday. One of our teaching pastors spoke on We are to love one another. His Key phrase:
"It is time for Christians to show love." Allen Cullen Trinity Church. He used selected verses on The Greatest commandment is to love. It was very good.

Signs of Spring

I went on a hunt for signs of Spring around my apartment and found some. The first two pictures are some new leaves coming in under some dead leaves, The other two pictures are from next to my steps, showing the beginning of flowers. Yea!!!

Ideas For Celebrating St Patricks Day

Here are some easy and inexpensive ways to celebrate St. Patricks Day.
Wear green
listen to Irish music
Find a green recipe.
an easy recipe is to take:
1 can fruit cocktail.
1 small tub cool whip
1 small container cottage cheese
green food coloring
1 small package green kool aide
mix the fruit, cool whip, use kool-aide, cottage cheese, and food coloring to taste. refrigerate. serve on green lettuce.

March Madness

I am really excited about MSU. They won their Big Ten game on Friday and today they play Ohio State.
Go Green and white. Tommorrow is Selection Sunday for the NCAA tounament, Wonder where MSU will place.

It felt like Spring today

It was 63 degrees here today. I subbed in a classroom today and we were able to go outside and enjoy the warm weather. Going home I had my car window down. It felt so good,
I was at one of our craft stores here and found a really easy way to decorate plain glass candle holders. I will post pictures when I get them done.
I love to decorate with candles.
